We have no doubt that choosing Brian MacDaimid from Coulson Real Estate was one of the smartest decisions we made about selling our house. The first thing Brian did when he came to provide us with an appraisal for the sale of our house was to give us tips on how to improve the appearance of our house as well as having a secured tenancy agreement to attract interested parties. Brian’s accuracy of the appraisal, ability to generate interest in the property and ability to sell the property quickly exceeded our expectations. In addition to this, his understanding of the market and sales process was of a very high standard and thanks to his lower costs, he charged a very reasonable commission which was better value than other agents. One of the most enjoyable part of having Brian as our agent was his customer service. He is honest, dedicated and hardworking and who does the following up and makes sure things happen when they are supposed to. It was just like a big brother helping a younger brother to sell the property. Not only would we recommend Brian to friends and family - we already have. Brian was so competent in his role that even after one buyer failed to respond, he was immediately able to engage another buyer (with a contract) and a third standby buyer in the event if the contact falls through at the original price. I saw Brian’s enthusiastic and pro-active efforts in dealings with the existing tenant and prospective buyers. His tact in dealing with the existing tenant exceed all my expectations and only god knowns how he managed both parties so well. Brian’s knowledge and experience not only provided us with a very reasonably settlement period, but he was also able to get 2 offers on our house the day after the first open inspection, not that our house was anything particularly unique, thus giving us lot of faith and confidence in him as a professional real estate agent who would be able sell our house.
